Anybody remember Dock Ellis? One of the first dudes to say IDGAF in Major League Sports. While playing starting Pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1973, Ebony Magazine ran a piece featuring his variety of hairstyles, and he started wearing his hair curlers to the ballpark for the pregame warm ups. There is also a factual story of how he pitched the first no hitter of the 1970 season, where he admitted he was high on LSD the whole game. Another time he chased a heckler in the stands with a bat.
